Primary Education Roles

  • Year 5 Teacher – One Term – Gosport
    • This short-term position starts in September and will run through till the Christmas break. We’re looking for a passionate teacher who will create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for their class, encouraging creativity and active participation.
  • Reception Teacher – Weybridge
    • Help shape young minds and join the team at a local Primary School in Weybridge as an EYFS/Reception Teacher. This role welcomes applicants who have recently acquired QTS status as well as experienced teachers.

Secondary Education Roles

  • Art & Design Teacher – Romsey
    • Share your creative passion with pupils in a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive team based in Romsey. This role is open to graduates and is a great way to kick-start your teaching career!
  • English Teacher – Basingstoke
    • Join a well-established, high-achieving Secondary School as an English Teacher. Located in Basingstoke, this maternity cover contract is a fantastic opportunity for someone who always looks to celebrate pupils’ successes and encourages them to grow.

SEND Roles

  • Primary Teaching Assistant – Eastleigh
    • Working in a small Key Stage Two class, the successful candidate will support pupils in class as well as in 1:1 settings. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with previous experience in SEN settings, supporting pupils with behavioural needs, keeping them engaged in the curriculum.
  • Maths Teacher (SEN) – Eastleigh
    • Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths teacher with experience in delivering engaging lessons to diverse pupils with additional learning needs.

Meet the Hampshire Team

The Southampton team at Prospero is led by Regional Director Andrew Bilton, who brings over 11 years of experience matching teachers with the right schools. Supporting him is Senior Manager Matthew Spencer, who oversees school relationships, team support, and safeguarding compliance.

Team Managers Louis Harris and Lee Hodgkinson each lead their own consultant teams, focusing on performance, coaching, and issue resolution. Associate Consultants Hollie Ranger and Rebecca Sherriff, along with Resourcer Lucy Roberts, handle candidate sourcing, screening, compliance checks, and day-to-day supply placements.

Senior Consultant Sam Green and Consultant Chanai Ankrah also contribute to recruitment efforts, ensuring schools are staffed with high-quality professionals.
