Youth Worker – Leeds – Immediate start!

Do you have experience working with SEN students? Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic Youth Workers to join a brilliant school in Leeds.

The role is to start immediately.

For this role you must:

• Have experience working with SEN students (ASD is preferred)
• Have worked with pupils before within groups.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Youth Worker with secondary age students
• Have experience working with small groups of students
• Experiece working with ASD students and is comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a school – (Ideal)
• Previous Primary/SEN education experience (preferred)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Leeds
• Position – Youth Worker
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
• Full time/part-time – Full Time
• Hours – 08:30 – 3:30
• The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £65 per day.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional related references
