Job Title: Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Support the Next Generation – Join Us as a Year 6 Teaching Assistant!
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming Year 6 class in a fantastic Rochdale primary school. This is a long-term, full-time role beginning in September 2025, ideal for someone eager to support pupils in the lead-up to SATs and the transition to secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to Year 6 pupils, ensuring they remain focused and engaged in learning

Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to boost progress, especially in core subjects

Assist with classroom preparation, including learning resources and displays

Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing

Work with children with additional needs when required (SEN experience is a bonus)

Requirements:
Previous experience working in a UK classroom (essential)

Two recent professional references from educational settings
