KS1 Teacher – Sturminster Newton

Are you are a Qualified Primary Teacher with experience teaching KS1 classes?

We are looking for an experience Key Stage 1/2 Teacher who is able to start immediately for a school locally.

The class is a lovely bunch with minimal behavioural needs, but is supported by teaching assistants. The role will be ongoing until the end of the academic year. We are looking for someone who is bubbly, engaging and can manage a class with ease.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Sturminster Newton
  • Position – Year 3 Teacher
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration -Ongoing
  • End date (if applicable) – N/A
  • Contract type – Long term
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – £140 per day (up to 210 a day)
  • Hours – 8:30am – 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Experience working with KS1/2
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training for this can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
