Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a respected and vibrant primary school in Handsworth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team from January 2025. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of Year 3 students.
Foster a positive, engaging, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
Maintain strong communication with parents and school staff to support student development.
Contribute to school activities and participate in team meetings and training.

  • Minumum Pay Rate – £150
  • Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 3/KS2.
Excellent classroom management and teaching skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and planning abilities.
Passion for delivering engaging and high-quality education.

Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong behaviour management skills are a must.

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child related references.
