Unqualified Nursery Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a number of aspiring nursery assistants in welcoming and supportive nurseries and preschools across Southampton, Winchester, The New Forest and Romsey. We are looking for fantastic staff, dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Support children with their daily routines, including meals, naps, and toileting.
• Maintain a clean and organised environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

  Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:

• • Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring and patient nature.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

• To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
