Team Teach TA

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils, SEND teams and schools throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Team Teach LSA to support a student on a 2:1 basis, working alongside an ABA tutor.

Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.

Position Details:

• Location: Hornchurch
• Position: Team Teach LSA
• Hours: 9am-1pm (view to increase)
• Timetable: 5 days per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• Team Teach trained
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, the potential Team Teach LSA must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
