Teaching Assistant – Clacton-On-Sea

Are you passionate about supporting childrens learning and development? Do you have a kind and caring nature, with a desire to make a real impact on young learners lives? Our welcoming and vibrant primary school in Clacton is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Clacton, Essex
Start Date: ASAP

As a Teaching Assistant, youll play a key role in supporting both individual and group learning, helping our students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.
· Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with diverse learning needs.
· Support students emotional, social, and behavioural development, promoting positive behaviour.
· Help with the preparation and organization of classroom resources and materials.
· Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
· Assist with the planning and implementation of activities that engage and challenge students.
· Support students during breaks and lunch periods.

About You:
· Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
· Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their best.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
· Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting childrens learning.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
· An understanding of how to support children with varying learning needs.
