• The Minimum Rate of Pay – £85 per day.

Prospero Teaching is working with a SEND School based in Doncaster.

We are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school, providing specialised educational support to students.

The students have ASD, physical needs, learning needs, SLD, MLD or PMLD

You will have previous experience of working with students with SEND.

Experience of Personal Care and a moving had handling qualification would be beneficial.

The role involves:

• Supporting students with SEND on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Liaising with teachers to ensure the best possible progress for the pupil/s
• Collaborate with the school’s SENCO and teaching staff to implement effective strategies and behaviour management plans.
• Delivering fun, engaging activities and sessions
• Building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil/s

You need to be:

• Flexible and adaptable to meet the specific unique needs of SEND learners
• Creative and organised in your approach to aid learning
• Confident and resilient
• Supportive and empathetic

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional related references
