TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Prospero Teaching are looking for Teaching Assistants for local schools for Primary and Secondary Schools in the Plymouth area.

We are open to hear from candidates with a background in education but also childcare settings and looking for either flexible supply or longer term and permanent opportunities.

The position is open to both graduates and experienced candidates. Depending on performance, there can opportunities for school to look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

  • Hours – 8:30 – 15.30

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 GCSEs, English and Maths
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
