General Support – EYFS and KS1 – Shard End
Prospero Teaching is recruiting for general support staff for a fantastic school in Shard End!

As a General Support staff member, you’ll assist with classroom activities, supporting children’s learning and development across both EYFS and KS1. This is an excellent role for anyone passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact in young learner’s lives.

Location: Shard End
Position: General Support staff member
Start: After Easter
Type: Full-time
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri, Term Time)
Pay: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
· Assist with lesson delivery and student engagement.
· Support small group or one-to-one work.
· Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
· Supervise children during break times and lunch.

Requirements:
· Previous experience working with children (school or similar setting).
· Passion for supporting young learners.
· Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) preferred but not essential.
· Up-to-date Safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this).
· Experience in EYFS and KS1 is also essential.
