Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a kind, friendly Teaching Assistant with experience in Nursery or Reception for a good primary school in Salford. This EYFS TA role is to start in January and is required for the remainder of the academic year.

In this good primary school you will be working within a highly organised and capable team in an excellent EYFS setting. As EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for leading groups of children with learning activities in a range of areas including Phonics, Writing, Maths and Reading. You will need to have experience as an EYFS TA and have clear understanding of the curriculum for this age group, how a successful EYFS setting works, and your contribution to it. As well as supporting the children, you will carry out a range of duties such as making and recording assessments, creating areas and displays, and planning activities alongside the class teacher. All staff in the setting support children with SEN.

This EYFS TA role is full-time and has a daily pay rate of £85 to £100 depending on experience.

Essential requirements:

• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS
• Relevant qualification such as degree or TA qualification, Level 2 or Level 3
• Professional references covering the last two full years
• Teaching Assistant experience in EYFS
