Teaching Assistant Half days

Knowsley, Liverpool (L28)

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students in a Primary and secondary setting SEMH school in Knowsley, Liverpool.

This role is a 1 to 1, working half days Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 12:00pm.

The school is for students from nursery upwards with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) diagnosed as having Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH)

The position is open to graduates

Ideally you will have a background or have studied in the following areas; health & social care, psychology, youth work, sports coaching.

If you have done placements as part of your course in a formal setting, or have supported students, or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults paid or unpaid, we’d love to hear from you.

Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
