An experienced Teaching Assistant is required to work on a 1:1 basis with a child with SEMH, and to deliver interventions tutoring, in a vibrant, welcoming mainstream primary school in Leigh. This school offers exceptional provision for children with additional needs, and you would be joining a skilled, caring team. You would be working independently on a planned timetable, where you are responsible for specific groups, delivering targeted interventions and leading a range of activities.
This is a full-time role starting ASAP. You must have prior experience of working with children with additional needs. You will need to be a confident, independent worker who is comfortable with managing time effectively as you will be responsible for your own timetable. You will need to have good behaviour management skills as the children you will be working with have a variety of additional needs.
