TEACHER OF PE

Prospero are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to work in secondary schools across St Helens to cover lessons on a supply basis.

The position will be mainscale, teaching across the age range and would suit someone new to the profession or with some experience looking to move to a different environment.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location – St Helens
  • Position – PE Teacher
  • Type of work – Temporary
  • Start date – NOW
  • Duration – on going
  • Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – £120 per day
  • Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm, plus parents evenings and departmental meetings as required

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
  • Up to date Prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
