Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a Site Manager ASAP for a school called Eastburn Junior and Infant School in BD20.

You would be required to open up at 7.00 and work until 12.00 initially, may be increased for the right candidate.

Desirable’s:

  • Carry out checks, legionella, fire, playground play equipment, site security etc.
  • Carry out tidying up the site, including gardening and sweeping litter picking – I do have contract gardeners who cut the grass.
  • Dealing with snow and ice and making the decision as to whether school should open later or not at all.
  • General maintenance of site for example simple plumbing, repairs, joiner skills, painting, repairing things, installing new notice boards, blinds etc.
  • Dealing with service contractors
  • Writing and using a risk assessment.
  • Trained in Health and Safety working at Heights, manually handling, fire warden, IOSH managing safely would be ideal.
  • Being proactive, identifying issues producing a solution
  • Full DBS with barred list checks required by supply agency and confirmation that all recruitment checks in accordance with KCSIE have been carried out.
  • Being able to use IT, this is a MUST, email, word.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location -Keighley
  • Position – Site Manager
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Hours – 7.00am – 12.00pm (may be increased)
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
  • Full time/part-time – Part time / Full Time both available
  • The minimum rate of pay – £15 per hour
