Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting a dedicated SENCO to join a thriving secondary school in South West London, supporting an inclusive learning environment and ensuring the highest outcomes for students with SEND.

You’ll work alongside a strong leadership team and SEN department, committed to delivering quality first teaching and targeted interventions that enable all learners to succeed.

About the Role

This is a leadership position with responsibility for:

  • Ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
  • Leading the implementation of the school’s SEND policy
  • Accurately identifying and assessing SEND needs
  • Developing and embedding inclusive teaching strategies
  • Delivering high-quality CPD to teaching staff
  • Monitoring and tracking the progress of students with SEND
  • Leading the SEND provision and maintaining the SEND profile
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external agencies

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS and a relevant undergraduate degree
  • National SENCO Award (or willingness to complete training)
  • Proven experience in a secondary school SENCO or inclusion role
  • Strong understanding of national curriculum priorities and SEND legislation
  • Experience delivering staff training and leading on inclusion
  • A commitment to improving outcomes for all students
