About the Role:
We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and supportive special primary school in Knowsley,Liverpool. The school caters to pupils aged 4 to 11 with complex autism and/or learning difficulties.

This is a community-focused school that values communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional well-being. Staff work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support and general classroom assistance

Support pupils with their learning, communication, and daily routines

Encourage independence and social skills through positive reinforcement

Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored interventions

Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months classroom experience in the UK

Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD and/or SLD, is desirable

Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners in a special needs setting

Able to build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff

Eligibility:
Right to work in the UK

Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)

Two professional references related to childcare or education

Available to work full-time from September 1st
