Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Area: Peckham, Southeast London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Long-term
Salary: Starting at £106 per day
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the school:
A specialist PRU setting for secondary-aged boys with SEMH and other SEND. The school offers a supportive, well-structured environment tailored to individual student needs.

About the role:
The role involves working one-to-one and in small groups with students to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing. You’ll assist in managing behaviour and encouraging positive engagement in learning.

We’re looking for a dedicated candidate to:

  • Provide tailored support to students with additional needs
  • Foster a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and external professionals
  • Promote emotional regulation and resilience

Requirements – The ideal candidate would have:

  • At least 1 year of SEN support experience
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child & adult DBS on the Update Service
  • Two recent references covering the last 2 years
