SEN Teacher Huddersfield
Full-Time | Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and creative SEN Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking specialist education setting in Huddersfield. If you are driven to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, personalised lessons for pupils with diverse additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, and complex learning needs).
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages independence and confidence.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the wider pastoral team to provide holistic support for each learner.
Implement EHCP targets effectively and track progress accurately.
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, maintaining open, positive communication.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

Is a qualified teacher (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
Has experience working within an SEN environment (mainstream or specialist).
Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
Has strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
