The Role – SEN Teacher

You will deliver high-quality lessons while supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning. The role involves implementing behaviour strategies, adapting the curriculum, and building strong relationships to support long-term progress.

You will help pupils move towards greater independence, acting as a positive and consistent influence in their education.

As an SEN Teacher, you will work alongside a talented SENDCo, teaching team and other professionals to identify implement strategies to remove barriers to learning for children with SEMH needs. You will deliver effective interventions and de-escalate challenging behaviours to ensure that learning can take place in this dynamic and hands-on SEN Teacher role. By adhering to school policies and working to EHCPs, you will have the opportunity to make a legitimate positive difference to the lives of vulnerable learners as an SEN Teacher.
