Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and experienced SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Year 4, to support with complex needs in a school located in Ladywood, Birmingham.
Previous experience working with special needs, challenging behaviour, is essential – the ideal candidate will have knowledge of ASC specific strategies such as now and next, a firm but fair approach, and visuals and will have worked in a SEN school setting or provision.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location – Ladywood, Birmingham
· Position – SEN TA – 1:1
· Type of work – SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Supporting with complex needs
· Start date – ASAP
· Full time
. Monday – Thursday Full day, Friday Half Day
· Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP 95 per day
· Hours – 8:20 am – 3:30pm (full day)
Requirements:
· Previous experience working with SEN children (school or similar setting).
· Knowledge of ASC specific strategies
· Passion for supporting young learners.
· Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA)
· Up-to-date Safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this).
