SEMH Teacher – Bury – Key stage 3
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH teacher to work in a popular alternative provision in Bury. You will be teaching key stage 3 children on a full time basis. The role will start after the Easter break and will initially be until July, however this can become permanent for the right person.

It is essential that you have recent experience working with students with OCD and anxiety.

This role is open to ECTs and fully qualified teachers.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
  • Location – Bury
  • Position – SEMH Teacher
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration – Long term
  • End date – July 2023 initially
  • Contract type – Temp to perm
  • Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – £140
  • Hours – 8:00am – 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • SEMH experience
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
  • Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
  • Recent behaviour management training (desirable, however training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
