Prospero Teaching are seeking Supply Teachers who are looking to join schools in and around the Bury area for the rest of the current academic year.

You will be required to teach classes to cover during times when permanent members of staff are absent. This can either be Day to Day work or Long-term roles depending on what you’re looking for and the needs of the school, teaching key stage 3 & 4 pupils.

This type of work enables you to be completely flexible and allows you to only work when you are available.

This position is suitable for Early Career Teachers as well as experienced teachers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Location – Bury

Position – Supply Teacher

Type of work – Day to Day

Start date – ASAP

End date – Flexible/ongoing

Full time & part time

Minimum daily rate of pay – £140

Hours – 8:30 am – 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS or PGCE

Previous experience working within a UK secondary school

Safeguarding training issued within the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)

Prevent awareness training issued within the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

Be confident covering lessons to secondary aged students

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide at least two professional child related references
