Job Title: Qualified Secondary School Art Teacher

Location: Swindon, UK

Job Type: Contracted

Salary: £145-£200 per day (depending on scale)

Working Hours: 8:20am – 4pm, Monday – Friday

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School Art Teacher to join our team at a highly reputable school in Swindon. The successful candidate will have experience working as an Art Teacher and hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that engage and inspire students
• Develop and maintain effective classroom management strategies
• Monitor and assess students progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their potential
• Mark students work in accordance with school policies
• Attend parents evenings and provide constructive feedback on students progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community, including extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Proven experience working as an Art Teacher in a Secondary School setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
