We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Bury from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher or an ambitious early career teacher looking to join a welcoming school with a strong commitment to academic achievement and student development. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop confidence and success in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Support students in achieving positive academic outcomes
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
• Commitment to raising attainment and achievement
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
