Lab Technician

Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a Lab Technician to work in an Ofsted ‘good’ school in Hemel Hempstead.

This Lab Technician role will involve preparing classroom resources, and helping set up science labs. This post is a full-time position, 5 days a week, however, a part-time schedule could be arranged. The desired candidate would have a science background, or previous Lab Technician experience.

Position – Lab Technician

Start date – ASAP

Duration / Likely Duration – long term

Full time/part time – Full Time

Minimum rate of pay – £70-£80 a day

Hours – 8:30 am – 3:30pm (full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

• Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable
• Science background

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS Science TECHNICIAN ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
