School Caretaker – PENARTH *DBS ESSENTIAL*

Responsibilities

• Carry out and record statutory checks and help maintain Health and Safety records
• Maintain property and grounds to a high standard including liaising with contractors
• Monitor site stock and order supplies
• Lock and unlock the school and carry out security checks on the buildings and grounds
• Carry out DIY Work
• It is essential that you are a capable of regular bending, lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture and able to climb ladders.
• Willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety
• The successful candidate will be required to act as a key holder.
• Good communication, interpersonal and DIY skills are essential.

To be eligible with Prospero Teaching, you must

• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional caretaker related references.
