School Caretaker – Colchester

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Caretaker to work in a mainstream secondary school in the Colchester area, starting ASAP on an ongoing basis to cover long term sickness.

About the school and contract:

• We are looking for a School Caretaker to start ASAP in a mainstream secondary school in Colchester.
• Duties will include but are not limited to: repairing handles, locks and door panes, keeping the grounds tidy, ensuring the safety, cleanliness and security of the school grounds, general maintenence, fire checks, water flushes.

• Location – Colchester
• Position – Full Time Caretaker
• Type of work – caretaking in a secondary school
• Start date – ASAP
• Contract type – ongoing sickness cover
• Duration / Likely Duration – 12 weeks
• Full time/part time – Full time (5 days)
• Minimum rate of pay – £70

To be eligible the Caretaker must have/be:

• Keen eye for detail.
• Good practical knowledge of DIY skills
• Experience in a similar role is essential.
