School Business Manager

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a School Business Manager.

The School Business Manager is the school’s leading support staff professional and works as part of the Senior Team to assist the Head Teacher in their duty to ensure that the school meets its educational aims.

This post will support with the management of staff, resources and premises, to facilitate the child and family centred work of the school.

You will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Milnrow
• Position – School Business Manager
• Type of work – Long Term
• Start date – ASAP
• Contract type – Long-term
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – TBC
• Hours – 8:30 am – 3.30pm

You will have:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate well and communicate with our children, families, staff and partners.
• Experience of organising and supervising administrative systems within a school
• Considerable experience working at a senior level; including the management of other support staff

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working as a Business Manager, ideally in a school.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
