Reception Class Teacher

Reception Teacher – Blackburn:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a qualified teacher to join a lovely primary school in Blackburn. You must hold QTS and previous experience of teaching reception for this position. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible and run until July 2025.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of teaching a reception class including planning, completing final EYFS assessments and attending staff meetings.

Position Details:

• Location: Blackburn
• Position: Reception Teacher
• Type of Work: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time only
• Hours: 8am-4:30pm
• Minimum Rate of Pay: £160 per day, depending on experience
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Previous experience teaching reception and EYFS
• Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
