Are you a Psychology graduate looking for your next career opportunity within education?

Prospero Teaching are looking for strong and ambitious Psychology graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants in Primary and Secondary schools in Leeds.

About the role: You will be supporting in management/support in the classroom and will be working more specifically with groups of children who may have varying learning abilities/additional educational needs.

CONTRACT /POSITION DETAILS:

  • Location – Leeds
  • Position – Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Long term, Ongoing
  • Full time/part-time – Full Time
  • The minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate of £70 per day
  • Hours – 08:30 – 15:30

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience of working with students with SEMH, Autism or ADHD
  • Experience working within a school or similar setting
  • Good knowledge of supporting children and young peope with Special Educational Needs
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
