Prospero Teaching are looking for a part-time teacher for the next academic year. We are looking for an experienced teacher, who would be able to work 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday) for the full academic year. You will be supporting another member of staff in the operations and management of the classroom.

As the part-time class teacher, you will play an important role in the management and running of the classroom. You will be leading and working with the other teacher, to create a safe and engaging learning environment. You will ave the opportunity to build a strong bond with the class, for the full academic year, with potential for it to progress in to a more permanent position.

For this position, we cannot accept ECT applications.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol

Position: Part-time Teacher

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for an assigned class, management of class, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils

Start Date: 09/2025

Rate of pay : £125 – £165 p/d (as per assignment)

Hours: 08:30 16:00

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

*Qualified Teacher Status

Desirable:

*Experience of working in Primary School

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*An understanding of the transition process from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

*Previous experience of teaching reading using a range of strategies, including synthetic phonics.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

*Hold right to work in the UK

*Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

*Provide two professional child related references
