This role involves working with behavioural support students in smaller class settings, supporting pupils who have been removed from mainstream education or placed within Alternative Provisions. The school is looking for a practitioner with strong behaviour management, emotional resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping pupils re‑engage with learning.

Position – Primary School Teacher
Type of work – Behavioural support / Alternative Provision teaching
Start date – ASAP
Duration – Ongoing / Long‑term
Full time/part‑time – Full time
Minimum rate of pay – From £125 per day
Hours – School hours (approx. 8:30 am – 4:00 pm)
PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience working with behavioural needs, SEMH, or Alternative Provision settings (highly desirable)
Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child‑related references
