Primary School Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Primary School Teacher to join us in supporting our Bristol schools. You will be expected to have good classroom management skills. This role will see you covering a mixture of assignments, both ad-hoc cover and longer term assignments when applicable.

A successful applicant will have Qualified Teacher Status and will have previous experience in a Primary School setting.

Prospero Teaching provide staff to schools and colleges across Bristol. The strongest applicant will have good knowledge of the school curriculum.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Bristol (location relevant to your postcode)
• Position – Teacher
• Type of work – Mixed
• Start date – March 2025 (Once cleared)
• Duration / Likely Duration – On going
• Contract type – Contract
• Full time/part time – Full time/flexible
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £120+ per day (negotiable based on experience)
• Hours – 08:00am – 4.00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching qualification with QTS
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
