JOB TITLE PPA Cover Teacher (Stockport)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a PPA Cover Teacher to work in a friendly and inclusive Primary School based in Stockport. The role is to start after Easter and will run until July 2025, covering PPA across various year groups.

This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys variety and working across the full primary age range. Planning is provided in most cases, but the ideal candidate will be able to adapt lessons where necessary and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers or confident ECTs looking to gain experience across different year groups.

Minimum rate of pay Paid to scale

Hours 8:00am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Essential

Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 Preferred

Flexibility and strong classroom management skills

Up-to-date Safeguarding training (can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child-related references
