Prospero Teaching are working with a ‘Good Ofsted’ rated Secondary School located Poole, Dorset seeking a PE Cover Supervisor.

Cover Supervisors are suitably-trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff that are on short-term absence. The Cover Supervisor’s main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students are safe and remain on task with the work they have been set.

This role will include the delivery of Physical Education & General Cover across the school were required. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and/or aspiring PE Teachers.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Poole, Dorset
• Position – PE Cover Supervisor
• Start date – Immediate Start
• Duration / Likely Duration – On going
• End date (if applicable) – N/A
• Contract type – Temporary/Permanent
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £100.00 per day
• Hours – 8:30am – 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school or working with young people.
• Sports Coaching Qualifications and/or Sports related degree
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (training available if required)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
