Outreach Worker – **YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE**
Trafford
Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Outreach Worker to work in a Special Needs School based in Trafford.
The role will consist of:
- Encouraging young people and their families to engage with school including attendance and issues outside of school
- Working with young people who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties
- Communicating with parents and dealing with pupils in a calm but firm manner
The Ideal candidate:
- Experience of working with KS3/KS4 pupils and their families
- Experience of working with pupils who can demonstrate challenging behaviours
- Have the knowledge of the risk associated with the use of illegal substances
- Must have their own transport and be willing to transport pupils to and from school (have business use insurance for their own vehicle)
Position Details:
- LOCATION- Trafford
- POSITION- Outreach Worker
- CONTRACT TYPE- Temp to Perm
- MINIMUM DAILY RATE- £90
- HOURS- Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30-3.30pm
- START- ASAP
