National Tutoring Programme – Nottingham

A fantastic school in Nottingham (NG4) are seeking an NTP tutor to help pupils with their GCSE level English skills.

To be considered for the role you must hold QTS or QTLS or have previous experience teaching / tutoring.

Tuition requirements are:

• Covering mainly English but may be asked to cover Maths and Functional Skills
• Working with the pupils’ attainment and progress
• Helping the students get back into mainstream school
• Working with small groups with a maximum of 4 students aged 11 – 16
• To start ASAP with the likely hood of the role continuing until summer and possibly from September also
• Rates of pay between £120 – £150 per day

Additional Attributes include:

• You must have a DBS preferably on the update service
• Previous work in Secondary Schools either as a teacher or tutor
• Working well alongside class teachers
• Passion for supporting students to achieve their goals
