Music teacher – Bolton –

Prospero work closely with a large secondary school in Bolton who are hoping to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team as soon as possible and will continue on a temporary basis until they break for summer. This role is a full-time position, you are required to hold (QTS) Qualified Teacher Status.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver engaging lessons that will motivate & interest the students. You will also mark any work necessary and provide feedback to the students. You will be required to attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings when they arise, and you will need to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management at all times, following the school policy.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – Bolton

Position – Music Teacher with QTS

Start date – Immediate

Contract type – Full Time

Minimum rate of pay – £145 per day

Hours – 8:00AM – 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, SCITT or equivalent

Previous experience teaching Music in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but training can be provided)

Music teaching experience desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional teaching related references
