Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified teacher who can teach computer science to KS3 and Business Studies to KS4. They are an 11 to 16 mixed comprehensive of around 1130 students and 150 staff situated to the west of Wigan. They are a community of students, staff, parents and governors with a common goal. They strive for the highest standards in everything we do.

The position is to start as soon as possible and will be long term. You must have experience working in a similar role within secondary schools to be considered.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location -Wigan
• Position – Computer Science/Business Studies
• Start date – ASAP
• Duration – ongoing
• Contract type – Full Time
• Minimum rate of pay – £120 per day
• Hours – 8:15AM – 4:00PM Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant teaching qualification
• Previous experience working in a school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
• Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
