Media Teacher – Chelmsford

We are seeking a passionate and creative Media Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving Secondary School in Chelmsford, Essex. If you have a strong background in media studies and a genuine desire to inspire young minds, we would love to hear from you!

Position: Media Teacher
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in media studies across Key Stage 3 and 4.
· Develop students’ understanding of media theory, practical skills, and creative expression.
· Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
· Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
· Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.

About You:
· A qualified teacher with a relevant degree (e.g., Media Studies, Film, Journalism).
· Strong subject knowledge and a passion for media and the arts.
· Experience teaching media studies at the secondary level (preferred but not essential).
· Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
· Ability to inspire and motivate students, helping them achieve their full potential.
