Maths Tutor Harrow

The Opportunity:

Prospero Teaching’s Children’s Education Services are currently looking for urgent Maths Tutors to support in the Harrow area.

We have a Year 8 student in need of tuition until they start their next school placement.

The tutor will need to support the child for an hour a day. This is an ongoing role supporting a child until they are fully integrated back into school. The tutor will need to be available to offer support at the children’s home Monday to Friday – after school hours.

VACANCY DETAILS:

• Hours per week – 5 hours per week
• Timetable – 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday
• Duration of booking – Ongoing
• Location – Harrow

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the SEND Specialist Tutor:

• Strong experience working with individuals with a variety of SEND
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the potential SEND Specialist Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
• Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
