The Role:

You’ll be working on a full time basis from SEPTEMBER 2022, and will be teaching Maths to GCSE level. If you’ve got skills in organisation, forward-thinking and creativity, then we want to hear from you! Based in the popular town of Chichester, our client school boasts a strong reputation throughout the local area. Pupils at this school enjoy learning, and more to the point, they contribute to lessons well. You’ll find yourself working amongst some excellent practitioners, who share good ideas and enjoy making lessons creative and exploratory. With excellent transport links via bus and train, this school is easy to get to on public transport but for those of you who drive, it also offers 100 space car park (excellent for rainy days). That’s not quite it, if you’re the successful candidate, then you’ll also be offered CPD training to keep your knowledge fresh and up to date!

Position – Maths Teacher
Type of work – Class teaching, marking, assessment where applicable

Full-time potential
Minimum rate of pay – £145 to £155 Per day
Hours – 8:20am-4pm (term time only)
Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Secondary school.
You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.
Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide two professional child related references.
