Maths Teacher – Trafford – February start

We are specifically working with a Good secondary school in the Trafford area, who are working with ourselves, to recruit for a temporary qualified Maths teacher, teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes from after February half term until they break for summer in July.

You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes.

The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Degree educated with a good classification (2:2).
PGCE in Maths, this could be 14+ or QTS
Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference).
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided).
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided).
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional children related references.
