ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted Good Primary school in Peckham, London.
The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive Early Years leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
The position is only open for Level 3 CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Peckham, London
· Nursery Teaching Assistant
· 27th January 2025 start
· Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2025 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
· Contract type: Temporary to Permanent
· Full time (Monday to Friday)
· Minimum rate GBP85 per day
· Hours – 8:15am – 3:45pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Holds CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
· Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
