About the Role:
Prospero Teaching are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners while working alongside a supportive and experienced staff team.
The Role Will Include:
Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to help them access the curriculum
Assisting with planning and delivering creative, engaging activities
Promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
Supporting children with additional needs (including those with SEN or EAL) where required
Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
Experience working in a primary school or with children of a similar age group
A caring, proactive, and patient approach to supporting childrens development
Confidence working with pupils of varying abilities and needs
Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures (training can be provided)
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero, You Must:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
Provide two professional child-related references
