Hours: 8:30am 3:30pm

About the Role:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting and help support the developmental and educational progress of the youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years curriculum

Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children feel confident to learn through play

Deliver targeted interventions and provide 1:1 or small group support where needed

Assist with observations and assessments in line with EYFS framework

Promote positive behaviour, independence, and personal development

Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (or equivalent) this is essential

Previous experience working in an EYFS setting in a school or nursery

A good understanding of the Early Years curriculum and child development

A warm, nurturing, and proactive attitude

Strong communication skills and a team player mentality

Requirements to Apply:

Right to Work in the UK

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Two professional child-related references

Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable can be provided)
