Prospero Teaching are looking for adaptable and positive Learning Support Assistants. We are looking for someone with 1:1 support experiences, strong communication skills and the ability to think on their feet. You will have the opportunity to support a variety of local schools and ensure that pupils in your area are achieving their bests.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting various pupils throughout the school day. This will be through small group work, in-class support and 1:1 assignments. You will be a supportive and key figure for learners who need that extra push to achieve their goals!

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Bristol
  • Position – Learning Support Assistant (TA)
  • Type of work – Long term, Short term
  • Start date – ASAP (when cleared)
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Until end of academic year, potentially beyond
  • Contract type – Contract
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £100+ per day (negotiable based on experience)
  • Hours – 08:30am – 15:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS.

  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of age ranges.
  • Driver (ideal but not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
