JOB TITLE – KS2 Teacher

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and well‑supported Primary School based in Bristol.
The school is committed to high‑quality teaching and learning, with a strong emphasis on professional development and collaborative practice. Ongoing CPD opportunities are available throughout the academic year.
Depending on performance and the needs of the school, this role may be extended or could lead to a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Bristol
• Position: KS2 Teacher
• Full-Time: Monday to Friday
• Day Rate: £130 – £180
• Hours: 8:20 am – 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory
• Proven teaching experience within Key Stage 2
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism and Speech & Language Needs
• Excellent communication skills and strong command of English
• Additional experience within childcare, healthcare, or social care fields is desirable but not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
• Provide two professional child‑related references covering the last 2 years
